There is a common perception that fresh fruits and vegetables are superior to frozen ones. But let's see what is true in reality.


Fruits and vegetables begin to lose nutrients after they are harvested. Let's consider that in many cases fruits and vegetables can take a long time to reach our plate.


The freezing method slows down this unwanted loss of nutrients.

It is accepted that frozen is just as good as fresh and in some cases even better in terms of nutrients.


Be careful! Some frozen fruits and vegetables contain additives such as salt and these are best avoided. How to avoid them? Read the label on the package
